With the high price of gas, groceries, and other necessities, everyone is looking for back-to-school bargains. Garage sales may be the answer.

More and more households are having garage sales trying to earn a few dollars to pay bills and necessities. On the other hand, people are frequenting garage sales for good deals to be had. It’s a win-win situation for both sellers and buyers.

For back-to-school backpacks, books, calculators, clothing, and even used computers and tablets, garage sales can’t be beat.

For those selling electronics at garage sales, be sure hard drives are cleared of all personal files. Have the computer set up and ready to operate if a customer is interested. Locate the computer, or other item, close to an electrical outlet, or have extension cords ready to use.

A decluttered home, money in the pocket, and knowing someone got a “steal” for an item they needed can be a great satisfaction.
