Chia seeds can help keep skin looking and feeling years younger than its true age.

There are nine essential amino acids that the body needs for growth and renewal of the skin. Chia seeds are one of only a few foods that are a complete protein containing all 9 amino acids.

Chia seeds are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acid. Omega-3 acids have anti-inflammatory properties to protect against sunburn and the redness of acne.

Antioxidants and fatty acids in chia seeds help to prevent wrinkles by keeping skin hydrated.

Chia seeds contain vitamin B and zinc which protects against the redness and scarring of acne.

Skin will absorb chia seed oil more effectively immediately after a bath or shower.

Chia seed oil should also be applied to the scalp. It will eliminate dry, flaky skin while the omega-3 fatty acids will help prevent breakage by strengthen the hair strands.
