Baking soda is the old standby for deodorizing a refrigerator. But, it’s not the only one. There are many home products that will keep your refrigerator smelling fresh!
One of the best natural deodorizers is tea. Tea contains tannins which absorb bad odors.
Tea leaves can be placed in a small bowl and placed in the refrigerator.
Alternatively, used tea bags can be located on a shelf in the rear of the refrigerator .
Whether using unused dried leaves, or used tea bags, replace them every few days and the refrigerator will always smell fresh and clean.
As an added bonus, used tea bags will remove any fingerprints on the outside of the refrigerator by rubbing the prints and wiping with a clean cloth.
