This easy to make pie is totally sugar-free and delicious. No artificial sweeteners. Completely guilt-free to enjoy with family and friends.
Sugar-free Apple Pie
1 can 6-oz frozen unsweetened apple juice concentrate
2 rounded Tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
5 to 7 apples, peeled and sliced
1 unbaked 9-inch double-crust pie shell
1 Tablespoon butter
Nutmeg, optional
In a small saucepan combine apple juice, flour, cinnamon, and salt.
Stir constantly over medium heat until mixture is thick and bubbly, about 3 to 5 minutes.
Stir apples into juice mixture.
Pour mixture into pie plate with bottom crust; dot with butter.
Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Place top crust over filling, cutting slits in top for steam to escape. Trim and seal.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes or until golden.
May be eaten plain or with whipped cream or ice cream.
