Besides being used for shaving and skin health, shaving foam is an excellent cleaner for all-around cleaning around the house.
Shaving foam can be used to clean pet accident stains from carpets. Simply blot up any moisture with a paper towel. Apply shaving foam. Leave for about 15 minutes. Then use a cloth soaked in warm water and pat dry. Vacuum when dry.
Shaving foam will remove red wine stains from carpets and clothing. Apply shaving foam and let it work on the stain for 10 to 15 minutes. Then rinse and dry.
Chrome and stainless steel appliances and fixtures will sparkle after using shaving foam. Fingerprints on appliances and hard water spots on water faucets will shine with a little buffing after using shaving foam.
Difficult to clean mildew on grout will be especially clean after cleaning with shaving foam.
Shaving foam will soothe sunburns by easing the pain and inflammation.
Shaving cream and foam will remove nail polish and varnish that gets on skin.
Covering delicate jewelry items with shaving foam will soak them clean without expensive jewelry cleaners.
Shaving cream can also replace the oil can. A squeaky door hinge can be quickly working like new. Squeeze a little shaving cream onto the hinge. Move the door back and forth a few times to work the foam or cream into the working part of the hinge. Remove any excess cream from the hinge.
